This is my self portrait piece. It is based on the idea that we are shaped by the people in our lives- friends and family. Therefore I made a collage of all the people who have made an impact on my life in the background. Then I created a face sculpture out of cardboard by layering it. Then I painted over the sculpture some of the different roles I have or have had throughout my life.
